Hard to cancel

Thought I was getting a trial sample. So I had to call and cancel after 14 days. My bad. So I got another shipment and called customer service. The product went from $90 all the way down to $20 with a free $100 gift involved. The fact that I said "I just want to cancel" about 15 times was making me very uncomfortable. They follow a very strict script. Each time I said I wanted to cancel, the product got cheaper and/or other "stuff" thrown in. I could not get off the phone with the security that I had actually cancelled the order. As I understand it now, they will not ship anymore product and if I want it I must call them by August 14. I'm not sure I believe it.

Would not cancel my order. Kept telling me I could get the product cheaper each time I said I wanted to cancel.

Don't Believe it! Same scenario happened to me, and they read the script exactly as you described.

I did receive a refund-- one quarter of the price they billed me for ( about 40$) and promised a $100 in free vouchers, and a free product.

Billed me for the free product-- and received 0 vouchers. I am going to report it to my CC , as far as I am concerned, the charges were not authorized, and they billed me twice!

OMG! These people are totally unethical!

I tried the product on trial and of course it did not work! So I cancelled it after the 14 days but I cancelled it in June this year! Today I go to the mailbox and I have received another shipment. I called to ask why and they tell me I did not cancel but asked for a 2 month extension! I DID NOT! The representatives do not listen, they over-talk and oversell and it took me threatening to report them to the depart of commerce to finally get a cancellation and a credit to my card! DON'T ORDER THIS PRODUCT!

Like the other respondents, I ordered a "free trial," then received a second set of the creams. I called promptly, was told to return the product, minus a $6 re-stocking fee, the amount would be refunded from my credit card. This never happened, and I have had a 3 way call with my credit card company, who have never made a mistake with my credit. I spoke to one customer service rep, who then sent me to a supervisor, who said the same information- gave me ID #s, which means nothing, and then hung up on me. I have filed a dispute with this company thru my credit card company, and hopefully, these people will eventually return the money they owe me. If you have any dealings with them, save all emails and records of what you do, as they are dishonest.

Don't fall for the FREE trial.

Ordered the free trial..just pay shipping. Did not see ANYTHING on the website that after 14 days you will be charged full price for 2 items totaling about $180 with automatic monthly shipping.

I asked for a copy of the agreement to be sent to me and was told I should have printed it. I then asked to talk to a superviser and was told to hold and then disconnected. I went on line and went back through the order process and could not find anything about being charged full price if you do not cancel the free trial within 14 days.

I did find a "contact us" link to send an email and asked for a copy if their terms but never got a response. I have chalked it up to an expensive lesson but hopefully this will save someone else!

Same thing here. I just got off the phone with one of their reps who continued to try and talk over me about legal contracts and other nonsense.

Eventually she offered a 35% refund. I told her I'd accept nothing less than 100%. Finally I gave up and hung up, then filed a dispute with my credit card company. The rep called back a few minutes later and offered a 50% refund.

Again, I said no.

I haven't opened the package yet, so I'm refusing it and return it to the company. Do not fall for this scam.

Please don't fall for the free trial facade- after two weeks, they will draft your account monthly for 180 dollars or so

I played *** trying to get my acct cancelled, finally got a confirmation number after ten mins of arguing, and will still block my bank acct.

I don't believe they've really cancelled, so, to be safe, I will have further charge attempts blocked

So glad I listened to my daughter on this!

I have not purchased anything from them yet, but there is a note about charging you after 14 day trial. It's small and kindaa hidden of course.

Exactly same thing happened to me.

Renuvaderm - Subscription Review from Whitehall, Pennsylvania

I ordered a free trial of Renuvaderm stating only S&H needed to be paid. No additional statements in the ad about a subscription, cost or future shipments. This company actually creates an account for you, continues indefinitely shipping their product to you & charges the card you used several times WITHOUT anything in writing, their advertising, or your consent. They literally help themselves to your credit card. And when you receive another box, saying "What's this ?" There's no bill or paperwork included. Then the big surprise comes when you call your credit card bank. I have 4 charges, around $90 apiece. The bank rep told me she's quite aware of this company's deception to consumers. Cancel your card & get a new one while they investigate. Save emails between you & Renuvaderm for the bank. You'll get credited after 30-60 days.
